Self Storage 1 Story Building System Specifications

The following standard characteristics represent the high quality materials and workmanship provided with Parkline Self storage Building Systems.

Exterior System (Walls and Framed Openings)

  1. The 3" x 16" wide 24ga. interlocking wall panels provide a load bearing system, without the obstruction of interior columns, wall girts or floor mounting straps, as with most other metal building systems.
     
  2. Parkline's 7 standard colors have a high quality siliconized polyester paint finish over G-90 galvanized steel.
     
  3. No exterior exposed fasteners provide maximum security and also create a much more attractive wall system than others which do not have this superior feature.
     
  4. Galvanized base channels for added protection at all exterior metal to concrete connections.
     
  5. Heavy impact resistant nominal 14 gauge galvanized steel overhead door frames, with nominal 24 gauge factory painted covers, which will handle practically all punishment that a facility of this type can be expected to receive.

Partition System

  1. Maintenance free, pre studded, nominal 26 gauge galvanized steel, 3" flush interlocking ribbed partition panels with all required base channels, wall caps and hardware.
     
  2. Maximum usable interior space due to the lack of any columns, wall girts or floor mounting straps not required with this system.
     
  3. All partition panels and components are pre-punched and pre-cut to correct length.

Corridor Partition System

  1. Maintenance free, pre-studded, nominal 24 gauge galvanized coated steel, factory painted arctic white, 3" flush interlocking rib corridor panels with all required base channels, wall caps and hardware.
     
  2. Maximum usable interior space due to the lack of any columns, wall girts or floor mounting traps not required with this system.
     
  3. All partition panels and components are pre-punched and pre-cut to correct length.
     
  4. Impact resistant galvanized steel, factory painted arctic white, overhead door frames of a nominal 18 gauge.

Roof System

  1. Maintenance free, durable nominal 24 gauge, minimum, aluminum coated steel, interlocking roof panels with 3" upstanding ribs.
     
  2. All interlocking rib panels are properly caulked to provide a fully weather-tight system.
     
  3. Gable or single slope roof design available, with low profile 1/8" on 12" roof pitch. Optional roof slopes with limitless profiles also available.
     
  4. All exposed roof fasteners are corrosive resistant provided with weather-tight neoprene washers.
     
  5. Trim package includes nominal 26 ga. gutter and downspouts.

Mini Roll Doors (Optional)

Roll Doors shall be as follows: Curtain is 26ga. continuous pre-painted, galvanized steel. Bottom Bar: galvanized - roll-formed steel and galvanized steel angle with astrogal. Guides: hot dipped galvanized steel with wear strip. Lock: slide bolt lock with provision for two padlocks. Door bracket shall be supplied with roller bearings.

Roof Insulation (Optional)

Roof Insulation shall be reflective insulation consisting of two layers of aluminum foil laminated to the outside of two layers of heavy-duty polyethylene air-bubble cushioning. These bubbles form trapped air spaces between the foil surfaces to give the structure excellent "R" values. Because the insulation is impervious to moisture and air currents, it is an ideal convection and vapor barrier. The reflective surfaces reflect heat in both directions to keep you warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

In general, all Parkline Self Storage Building components can be easily assembled with simple hand tools by utilizing the detailed erection drawings provided prior to shipment.

The Parkline Building System is a TOTAL package, which reduces field labor costs and speeds up project completion time.

Foundation requirements for Parkline Buildings normally only require a simple notched, thickened edge slab with no separate piers or footings required (depending on local codes). Expansion type anchors (provided by Parkline) are drilled when laying base channels.
