Ceiling
The metal ceiling system consists of 3" deep 16" wide
interlocking panels of nominal 24 gauge embossed galvanized
steel, factory painted Arctic White. The ceiling system
is supported at its perimeter by concealed angles and
hook bolts. The ceiling system is furnished complete
with all necessary connectors and fasteners.

Options: |
- The ceiling can be insulated with 16" wide by 3-1/2" thick
R13 unfaced fiberglass insulation laid at right angles to
the panel ribs. The "U" value through the finished ceiling
would be a maximum of 0.09 BTU's per square foot when
calculated in accordance with the "Zone Method" contained in
ASHRAE "Handbook of Fundamentals", 1981 edition. Eave
height -6".
- The ceiling can be insulated with 2 layers of 16" wide by
3-1/2" thick R13 unfaced fiberglass insulation 1st layer
laid in panel void, 2nd laid at right angles to the panel
ribs. The "U" value through the finished ceiling would be a
maximum of 0.06 BTU's per square foot (R15.9) when
calculated in accordance with the "Zone Method" contained in
ASHRAE "Handbook of Fundamentals", 1981 edition. Eave
height -6".
- The ceiling can be insulated with 2 layers of 16" wide by
3 1/2" thick R-13 unfaced fiberglass insulation laid at
right angles to the panel fibs. The "U" value through the
finished ceiling would be a maximum of 0.05 BTU's per square
foot (R21.3) when calculated in accordance with the "Zone
Method" contained in ASHRAE "Handbook of Fundamentals", 1981
edition. Eave height -9".
- Ceiling panels can have acoustical perforations across 14"
of the panel width. Perforations would be 1/8" diameter on
a patterned spacing of 3/8". The acoustical ceiling system has
been certified by an independent testing laboratory for a
minimum NRC rating of 0.95 when tested in accordance with
ASTM C423 standards.

Roof Insulation
Roof insulation consists of 48" wide, 3" thick, .6#
density fiberglass faced on its exposed side with a white
metalized polyproplene scrimkraft facing. The faced
insulation material has a UL Flame Spread Rating of
25 when tested in accordance with UL 723 or ASTM E-84
procedures.
Insulation is supported at the roof line by means of
mechanical clips spaced on maximum 4' centers and is
sealed by means of a 2" side tabs on the facing. The "U" value through the insulated roof is a maximum
of 0.10 BTU's per square foot when calculated in accordance
with the "Zone Method" contained in ASHRAE "Handbook of
Fundamentals", 1981 edition.

3" Therma-Roof
Roof insulation consists of 48" wide x 8' and 12' long
polyisocyanurate foam board faced with a white embossed
coated foil on the exposed interior surface.
Insulation has a maximum UL Flame Spread Rating of
25, fuel contributed rating of 10 and Smoke Developed Rating
of 155-190 when tested in accordance with UL723 testing
methods and meets the requirements of the Underwriters
Laboratories "Wall-Ceiling" Construction Classification.
The roof insulation system includes metal supporting
tees on 4' centers and all trim required for a finished
interior appearance.
Insulation thickness is 3", R9.1, R Value is
calculated by the "Zone" method contained in ASHRAE Handbook of Fundamentals" 1981 edition.
