Left and Right Doorway Stair and Platform Units

8′ High Matching Stair and Platform Units for Industrial Duty Sheet Metal Building

This matching set of Left and Right Stair and Platform Units is a perfect example of how Parkline can manufacture custom products to suit specific needs. As shown in the images above, this matching set was used to permit access to the doorways of an industrial duty sheet metal shelter, also produced by Parkline, which was elevated approximately 8 feet above grade. The client selected carbon steel materials and a hot dipped galvanized finish on all components, and the option to attach these matching stair and platform units directly to the base of the industrial sheet metal shelter, which eliminated the need for legs on the rear side of each platform.

Examination of each example image above reveals many other standard construction features, including our exclusive coupon marking systems, quality driven welding procedures, and assembly bolts which make these industrial duty stairs and platforms easy to assemble and utilize. The matching stair and platform units are then shown as palletized in the final image, ready for delivery to our Client. Consider Parkline industrial duty stairs and platforms for your next project, and utilize our online inquiry form to select all elements of construction and specify your particular dimensions.

In this first image, the matching set of industrial duty stairs and platforms are shown from their front and perspectives, as if to be bolted to the left and right sides of the building they will serve in the field.  They are nearly identical in all respects and built in mirror image configurations.

From another perspective, the hand rails which surround each unit are clearly visible, along with the extended length of the right platform which is slightly longer to accommodate and offset in the location of the door on that side of the industrial duty sheet metal building these stair platform units serve.

This first detail image shows how the hand rail assemblies, stairway and that grading are all attached with machine thread bolts that were prefitted prior to the hot dip galvanizing process.  This critical aspect of construction ensures absolute alignment all parts, making field assembly fast and easy.

This detail image emphasizes the manner in which our handrail and support leg components are attached to the platform, and how the toe plate is an integral part of the hand rail assemblies.  This image also reveals how matching plates connect the platform deck to all support legs, providing maximum strength.

Quality begins with careful attention to detail, and is exemplified by the uniform consistency of the handrails shown in this image.  Although all Parkline industrially duty stair, ADA ramp and platform assemblies are built to order, exacting quality assurance is applied to maintain a uniform appearance.

These three images show how our exclusive industrially duty stair and platform unit coupon marking system makes assembly and installation at your jobsite a snap! This foolproof methodology provides a superior solution to temporary labels which can become defaced or detached during transport and handling.

The quality of all seal welds is emphasized in this image of a support leg base.  Parkline takes great pride in maintaining a staff of fully certified welders, who manufacture our stair and platform units under the continuing scrutiny and guidance of our quality assurance and production management teams.

Our final image of this matching set of industrial duty stairs and platforms is the first image your assembly team will see when our product arrives at the jobsite. As palletized, this quality driven product can be easily offloaded, assembled by a team of two or three men and ready for use in a single day!
