Building Four Decades of History

2019

Expansion of our Texas facility driveway to accommodate shipment of oversized buildings. In previous years, we were limited in the length of buildings to 60 – 65 feet. This expansion allows us to effectively ship longer buildings. In fact, in 2019 we shipped a single piece building that was 98 feet long.  We have also shipped multi-piece buildings in excess of 150 feet long.

2017

Parkline completes another $800K facilities upgrade. The latest upgrade included significantly increasing the concrete outdoor storage area and new perimeter security fence with state of the art security and camera system. Additionally Parkline also added a climate controlled secure storage facility for storage of customer furnished materials in a clean climate conditioned indoor environment.

2016

Parkline acquires assets and employees of Bebco Industries. Recognizing a growing need for a more centrally located manufacturing facility and a broader product line to better serve our clientele, Parkline finalized the asset purchase in June of 2016 allowing us to provide a broader range of solutions for our customers building needs, including Blast Resistant and Fiberglass buildings. This acquisition also allowed us to expand our manufacturing facilities by 110,000 square feet with a facility located on the Texas Gulf Coast.

2014

Parkline manufacturing facility undergoes a major expansion that added structural fab and painting capabilities at our current facility. Our modern production facility, located in Eleanor, West Virginia, added a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility as its neighbor. Home to our Pre-Erected division, the new facility added an additional 20,000 square feet to Parkline’s home, enabling us to take on larger, more sophisticated projects.

2012

Parkline partnered with Summit Park, a private investment firm, in a venture that encouraged growth in both product capabilities and product reach across the United States. This move allowed Parkline to expand its already well-known brand name and helped increase the number of products available to its customers, all while still leading the industry in metal building innovation and construction.

1997

Parkline became 100% employee owned. Through continuing research and product development programs with an emphasis on customer service, Parkline remained the industry’s leader.

1973

Parkline, Inc. was formed as an independent company and acquired the assets necessary to produce the complete line of Parkersburg self-supporting metal buildings.

1930’s

A critical need arose in the oil and gas industry for a durable and easily erected small building system for production fields and refineries. The Parkersburg Rig and Reel Company of Parkersburg, West Virginia put its engineers to work designing a new self-framing, interlocking panel building that became the forerunner of the Parkline building system.
