According to Electricity 2024, a new report from the International Energy Agency (IEA), electricity demand worldwide is expected to accelerate during the next three years – but the additional demand is expected to be covered by clean energy technologies.
At Parkline, we know how to build for the renewable sector, crafting the buildings that help power our energy future.
Electricity 2024 is the latest edition of the IEA’s annual analysis of electricity market developments and policies, providing forecasts for demand, supply, and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from the sector through 2026.
Electricity demand eased a bit in 2023, but IEA believes it will accelerate to an average 3.4 percent through 2026.
Record-setting electricity generation from renewables such as solar, wind, and hydro should reduce the fossil fuel role. Renewables are expected to account for 50 percent of the world’s electricity generation by 2026, and that’s a 10 percent jump from today!
Parkline’s team has been building for the solar and industries for years, and so we’re well-equipped for the forecasted growth.
We specialize in substations, collector houses, monitoring stations, meter houses, and battery storage units. In other words, we have it covered. We can build on-site or provide modular, turn-key solutions.
And our integration expertise eliminates costly and cumbersome on-site electrical work. We provide a plug-and-play installation experience. When the energy world is changing so quickly, that’s critical – because efficiency is key.
