Under the supervision of the Corporate EH&S Director, the Site EH&S Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and management of Parkline’s safety standards, policies, programs and culture.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all safety manuals, programs, policies and practices are continually implemented.
• Maintain records and prepare appropriate reports.
• Educate employees on safety standards and expectations.
• Identify, coordinate, and implement safety and environmental improvement plans.
• Develop and deliver environmental and safety training both in person and electronically.
• Participate in regularly scheduled safety committee meetings.
• Observe work practices and interact/coach safe work practices with employees and supervisors.
• Perform Job Safety Analyses and PPE assessments and make recommendations for improvement.
• Perform regular facility environmental, health, and safety audits and employee competency testing.
• Oversee inspection, maintenance, and upkeep of safety equipment (fall protection, respiratory protection, etc.).
• Develop and communicate weekly safety toolbox talks.
• Participate in incident investigations.
• Maintain safety supply inventory.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A degree in environmental and/or Health and Safety (or a related field) or, in lieu of a degree, 2 or more years of experience in the Environmental, Health and Safety field.
• Experience working in a manufacturing facility or the construction industry.
• Certification in First Aid/ CPR/ AED or be willing to obtain.
• OSHA 30 Certification (Construction or General Industry) or be willing to obtain.

• Data entry skills
• Competent mathematical and analytical skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint

This role may be required to work occasional off-shift schedules and some travel assignments. Due to the nature of this position, physical activity is also required as well as working in temperature extremes, outdoor elements, and noisy environments. This role may be required to climb, sit, and stand on a regular basis and lift and or move up to 50 pounds without assistance and occasionally lift over 50 pounds with assistance.

Systems Project Estimator

Parkline engineers to order, manufacturing and integrating metal building for a wide variety of uses and industries. We execute modular and site-build projects all over the country.

The Systems Project Estimator is responsible for preparing and coordinating the preparation of complete PDC estimates on large and complex projects, as required by customer documents. This person is responsible for assisting with order entries and managing the transition to the assigned Project Manager. They must communicate estimated job or customer concepts to a Project Manager. A background in electrical estimating is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emails and phone calls from new and existing customers.
• Review and evaluate requests for estimates on small and complex quotes.
• Obtain project information related to the scope of work, the time frame needed and any other pertinent information related to the job.
• Receive purchase orders from customers and create orders.
• Review PO against the proposal for accuracy. review critical estimated items against customer specifications and determine any special drawing/invoicing/shipping requirements and notes on the order.
• Review specifications and drawings, gathering information needed for an accurate quote for the job.
• Once the review is completed, prepare and place the quote in Parkline’s Database, entering all customer information and other information related to the job.
• Obtain freight rates on all jobs.
• Release purchase orders to Customer Service/Planning.
• Assist with or perform electrical estimates for assigned projects.
• Create or work with the electrical design team to determine the optimal building layout while meeting all code requirements.
• Develop consistent standards for building and electrical estimating.
• Manage working schedules to ensure estimate due dates are met.

Qualifications

• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in an office environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with activities related to planning and/or scheduling.
• Must possess a willingness to learn.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently based on workload.
• Leadership – ability to complete major job tasks with little department management oversight.
• Customer Service – responding promptly to customer needs, soliciting customer feedback to improve service and maintaining confidentiality.
• Communication – speaking clearly, persuasively, and professionally. Editing own work and the work of others for accuracy.

• Quality – demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness to ensure quality.

• Dependability – demonstrating positive work ethic, leadership ability, discretion, initiative and working independently to get the job completed.
• Strong working knowledge of the NEC/NFPA.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, one-lines, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Auto CAD (2d) 3D is a plus.

Qualified Builder (West Virginia only)

Department: Pre-Assembly Plant (West Virginia)

Position Overview

Responsible for the erection of Parkline buildings to be shipped to various customer sites. This position will be a temporary position, with the possibility to move to a permanent position.

Job Functions

  • Installs all components of buildings; including but not limited to HVAC units, windows and doors
  • Erection of Parkline buildings at the Eleanor WV plant
  • Read and understand prints and bill of materials
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed and all parts are shipped with building
  • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes and manlifts
  • Loading and unloading of building materials
